AUCTION POLICIES & GUIDELINES

• The Silent Auction will close at 8:30 p.m. If you won an item, please go to the check out area between 8:35 p.m. and 8:55 p.m. to confirm payment and to pick up your winning prizes.

• Every bidder must bid according to the minimum bid and bidding increments stated for each bid item.

• All auction prizes have been donated and C-CAP has made our best efforts to describe the packages accurately C-CAP does not assume any risk for the authorship of any property described in this auction.

• The stated value of auction goods and services are good-faith estimates only and are not warranted for tax purposes. Please contact your tax advisor regarding the tax deductibility of purchases. Auction items and services are subject to the terms and conditions stated by the donor and restrictions on the bid sheets. C-CAP and the donor cannot extend the expiration date of any package.

• Winners are responsible for making their own arrangements for travel packages, dinners, classes, and catered events. These packages are subject to a mutually agreeable date and time between donor(s) and purchaser.

• We ask that each winning bidder pay for each package won and take the respective prize(s) home the evening of the Benefit. Winning bidders are responsible for the pick up of any items that are not paid for at the event. If the winning item is heavier than a gift certificate and is not picked up at the Benefit, the winner is responsible for the cost of shipping the items from Pier 60 to the C-CAP office and then to the winner's receivable location. If the items include wine or alcohol, winners outside of New York State must pick up items in the C-CAP office at 505 Eighth Avenue, Suite 1400.

• Successful bidders unable to stay until winning bids are posted will be notified within two business days of the event. If we are unable to contact you within five business days, we will call the next highest bidder, and you will no longer be the winning bidder.

• Payments may be made to C-CAP by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or by check (made out to Careers through Culinary Arts Program).

• All sales are final and sold "as is." C-CAP bears no responsibility should any item donated be unsatisfactory or should it become invalid due to changes in operations.

• No returns or credits.
